Spring is here, even though Colorado hasn’t seemed to get the memo just yet –– snow in the forecast again? Come on! Last week a crazy blizzard came through Denver, keeping me cooped up inside for two days. My solution? Make some Spring projects to lift my spirits!
In my Valentine’s Day post, I mentioned that I work for a craft supply company which means I get to play with the products. So, today I’m sharing two projects I created for Spring with products from my company, Elizabeth Craft Designs. I may be biased… but this company is the best! HAHA
Enjoy 🙂

I’ve been staring at this extra embroidery hoop since December, knowing I wanted to add some flowers to it. So, I turned on Golden Girls, grabbed the Ranunculus Die Set, and finally got to work! These paper flowers are VERY easy to create, (I promise!) and look so realistic!!

I love a good stamp! I’m a pretty big bookwork and tend to read a few books at a time, which means I’m always in need over more bookmarks. I decided to create a bright Spring bookmark this month, using the Love, Life Tag Die Set and the Color My Flowers Stamp Set. I just colored them in with colored pencils –– easy peasy!
I wish I had time to craft more often, especially to create flowers! It’s a great way for me to carve out ‘me-time’ –– it’s relaxing but productive at the same time.
What do you do to carve out ‘me-time’?
