I’m a big advocate of taking time to reflect.
It’s easy to recount the day and see surface-level events — I’m challenging you to dive a little deeper. Take a closer look at your attitude, plan, effort, goals, etc. –– did you meet them? Are you living everyday as the person you’re wanting to become?
I truly believe that we can reinvent ourselves, but it’s important that we lay the groundwork first. Part of that groundwork is reflection. Dig deep into what you have done, and take time to figure out what you want to do and what it takes to live it.
Everyone has a different definition of success. Everyone has a different set of goals. It’s easy to get wrapped up in what everyone else is doing –– but I promise you, if you have a clear view of what you want to be and you whole-heartedly commit to living it… you’ll get there!
So, I’m challenging you to reflect. Think about who you have been –– as a person, daughter/son, parent, sibling, friend, etc. –– and then think about who you want to be. What you need to do to be that person? What do you need to succeed?
